Belle Époque jewelry

The jewelry of France’s beautiful era, from the 1890s to 1914: platinum, diamonds and garlands.

The Belle Époque, the beautiful era, describes France from the late nineteenth century to the outbreak of the First World War. Its jewelry, made in Paris by Cartier, Boucheron, Chaumet and Lacloche among others, is the French counterpart of Edwardian style: platinum and diamonds in garlands, bows and lace patterns, pearl sautoirs and delicate tiaras.
