Brutalist jewelry
Sculptural jewelry of the 1960s and 1970s with rough, organic surfaces.
Designers such as Andrew Grima in London cast gold and set crystals and rough stones to look as if they had come from nature. The style rejected the polished perfection of earlier jewelry.
What to look for
Texture is the point; check that it has not been worn smooth and that stones are secure in their irregular settings.
