Created by Cartier in the 1990s, this Panthère Collection Maillon necklace is composed of three closely arranged rows of 18K yellow gold links, their softly rounded rectangular forms set in a precise, staggered pattern. The disciplined geometry of the links gives the necklace a distinctive architectural character, while their articulation allows the gold to follow the curve of the neckline.

At the center, 48 round brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing approximately 2 carats in total, are set across the three rows, transforming the continuous gold surface into a concentrated band of light.
