Cartier jewels of carved rubies, emeralds and sapphires set among diamonds, from the 1920s and 1930s.
Inspired by Indian jewelry, these pieces combined carved leaves, berries and flowers in platinum. The name came later; Cartier called them Indian-style jewels.

Among the most valuable and most restored of all Cartier jewels. Original carved stones matter; check for replacements.
