Eternity band
A ring set with stones all the way around, symbolizing endless love.
An eternity band is set with a continuous line of identical stones around the whole ring, symbolizing endless love. A half eternity is set only across the top. Eternity bands became popular in the twentieth century, often as an anniversary gift.
What to look for
Because stones go all the way round, a full eternity band is difficult to resize. Check that every stone is secure, especially on the underside, which takes the most wear.
