Double clip brooch
A brooch made of two clips that can be worn together or separately.
A double clip brooch is made of two matching clips that slide into a common frame to form one brooch, and can be removed to be worn separately. It was one of the great inventions of 1930s jewelry, made in platinum and diamonds by the Paris and New York houses.
What to look for
The frame, or brooch fitting, is often lost. A complete double clip with its original fitting is worth more.
