The story

Created by Pederzani in Italy circa 1980, these distinctive earrings bring together approximately 5.00 carats of diamonds in an elegant interplay of curves and geometry. Each earring is formed as an asymmetrical, curling scroll, its rounded surfaces densely pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds. A graduated fan of baguette-cut diamonds follows the inner curve, introducing crisp, architectural lines against the softer brilliance of the surrounding stones. Along the upper edge, a succession of circular diamond-set elements gives the design a delicate, almost scalloped silhouette.

The composition reflects the expressive character of Italian jewelry in the 1980s, when generous proportions and sculptural forms were often balanced by sophisticated stone-setting techniques. Here, Pederzani achieves that balance through the contrast between the concentrated sparkle of pavé diamonds and the measured reflections of the baguettes. The result is a pair of earrings with considerable presence, yet an unusual sense of lightness and movement.

A graceful curve interrupted by geometry, where every change in surface reveals another quality of light.
