Renée Puissant
Artistic director of Van Cleef & Arpels from 1926 to 1942.
The daughter of Alfred Van Cleef and Esther Arpels, Renée Puissant directed the house’s design with the draughtsman René-Sim Lacaze. Their era produced the Art Deco jewels, the Mystery Set and the Ludo bracelets for which Van Cleef & Arpels is collected.
