Chaumet

Paris house founded in 1780 by Marie-Étienne Nitot, jeweler to Napoleon.

Chaumet has been at 12 Place Vendôme since 1907 and is famous for its tiaras and its long history of jewels for the French court and European aristocracy.

Signature and marks

Pieces are signed Chaumet Paris, usually numbered, with French marks.
