Boucheron
Paris house founded by Frédéric Boucheron in 1858, the first of the modern jewelers on Place Vendôme.
Boucheron opened at 26 Place Vendôme in 1893. Known for the Question Mark necklace of 1879, for its Art Deco jewels and for its textured gold of the 1960s and 1970s, it remains one of the great French houses.
Signature and marks
Pieces are signed Boucheron, usually with Paris and a number, and French marks.
